Kara is a direct Turkish import and an exceptional example of the traditional Kangal Dog. Though slightly more moderate in frame, he is densely built and powerfully muscled, combining athleticism with substance. His strong bone, balanced structure, and deep chest reflect the functional working heritage of the breed.

He carries the classic Kangal expression, confident, steady, and observant. Kara possesses the calm authority and natural guardian instinct that define true livestock protection dogs. He is thoughtful rather than reactive, discerning in his responses, and unwavering in his commitment to his territory and stock.

Kara is proudly owned by Tamara Taylor of Turkmen Kangals, whose commitment to preserving authentic Turkish bloodlines is evident in the quality and integrity he represents.  He is registered with the United Kennel Club.

As a proven sire, Kara has already produced one impressive litter. His offspring exhibit strong structure, sound temperaments, and excellent working aptitude. We anticipate he will consistently pass along his muscular build, steady disposition, and protective instincts to future generations.
