We are thrilled to announce the planned mating between Neylan and Kara in Fall 2026. Kara is a Turkish import Kangal proudly owned by Tamara Taylor of Turkmen Kangals. This carefully considered pairing brings together two dogs of strong heritage, solid working ability, and balanced temperament.

Neylan exemplifies the Rafter O standard: confident, attentive, and dependable in her guardian instincts. Her structure, drive, and faithful nature make her a cornerstone of our breeding program. She carries both substance and sensibility, with a calm yet alert disposition that fits perfectly with livestock guardian roles.  She is a FINISHED CHAMPION with UKC.

Kara brings authentic Turkish bloodlines and proven sire quality to this pairing. Slightly more moderate in size but impressively muscular and substantial, he offers strength, sound structure, and the clear, steady temperament that defines a true working Kangal. Kara’s first litter demonstrated his ability to pass on these traits, producing puppies with excellent frame, composure, and protective instinct.
