Nomad Once in a Blue Moon “Clair” is a fabulous Cou Clair 1st generation doe from Nomad Nubians.  When I saw her, I just had to have her.  She will be on the bigger side with such a high percentage Nubian, but we will try to get the size of her kids down with smaller bucks.  Her color markings are very unusual, and those beautiful blue eyes!  Also, MILK!!!  Check out her pedigree!  WOWSA!  Clair comes from the outstanding Nubian lines of Saada, Woest-Hoeve, Iron Owl, and DKGH.

Clair freshened this year again with twins.  We retained her blue-eyed, two-tone chamoisee daughter, Clover, in 2019, and we will retain her Cou Clair daughter, Cricket this year.  Her udder is socked on nice and high with great attachments, medial ligament, teat placement, teat size, and orifice size.  We milk with the Simple Pulse machine, but she is super easy to milk by hand. Her second freshening udder is awesome, with increased capacity!

Clair is a very feminine doe with a long lean dairy neck.  We make sure to breed her to nice wide bucks to put needed width on the kids.

Since we have retained two of her daughters so far, Clair is going to a wonderful new home in Cedar Hill, TX with her doeling, C.C.
