Pony joined our farm from CA Blackberry Herd in California.  We are excited to have her to infuse some excellent Nubian genetics into our Mini Nubian herd.  Pony doubles down on the outstanding Troubadour.   Also, I had a huge collection of the My Little Pony dolls when I was growing up, so it is only fitting that Pony join our herd! Her udder looks fantastic with excellent capacity, udder height, attachments, teat size and teat placement.

We have retained her 2022 doeling, Sue.  She is Pony’s little mini-me but polled!  Sue did very well in her first MDGA Live Show at the Texas Mini Milkers Texas Two-Step in Boerne on May 6, 2023.  She won Reserve Grand Champion in Ring 1 and Grand Champion in Ring 2!  

Pancho is a very masculine two-tone chamoisee, moon-spotted, blue-eyed buck.  He is maturing very nicely.  Pancho is the result of merging two great lines in our herd!  We are ecstatic to use him on more of our does for 2024!

His dam, Clover is a beautiful two-tone chamoisee doeling with blue eyes.  She is very feminine and has a great topline and overall conformation.  Clover’s pedigree is outstanding on both sides.  Her dam, Clair, comes from top Nubian herds.  Indy, her sire, is a purebred Mini Nubian with lineage back to quality, foundation Mini Nubian herds.  Her udder is amazing…high attachment, good teat size, and good capacity.  Clover is a FINISHED CHAMPION with MDGA Live Shows!

His sire, Tundra is our spectacular buck from out West.  He brings in a powerhouse pedigree of champs and milk stars. He’s got excellent conformation, and greatly improves his kids!    Tundra also has his *B – milk star.  AND…Tundra has three Reserve Grand Champion wins in the MDGA Virtual Show! 

This pairing is going to be interesting – lots of great qualities to be passed down from both sire and dam.  A true fusion of our Blackberry’s lines with our homegrown Rafter O lines!  A kid from these two will definitely infuse some fresh genetics into your herd!
