Clover is a beautiful two-tone chamoisee doe with blue eyes.  She is very feminine and has a great topline and overall conformation.  Clover’s pedigree is outstanding on both sides.  Her dam, Clair, comes from top Nubian herds.  Indy, her sire, is a purebred Mini Nubian with lineage back to quality, foundation Mini Nubian herds. 

In May 2023, Clover won Grand Champion Mini Nubian Senior Doe in the Texas Mini Milkers Texas Two-Step under Judge Morgan Allen.  She also received Best Udder in both rings!  Later in the month at the Memorial Classic in Brenham, Texas, Clover earned her final leg, Grand Champion Mini Nubian Senior Doe and Best Udder under Judge April Hitch.

In May 2022, Clover won Grand Champion Mini Nubian Senior Doe in the Hill Country Mini Milkers Texas Two-Step under Judge Brandi Giachino.  The competition was fierce, and we are very happy that she came away with Grand Champion!

Clover has freshened three times with buck/doe twins.  Her udder has very high attachments, good teat size, and placement.  We retained her 2021 doeling, Verbena, and a 2022 buck, Pancho.  Clover is likely homozygous for blue eyes, as all her kids have blue eyes.  Verbena won Reserve Grand Champion as a Junior Doe in the MDGA Fall 2022 Virtual Show, and she won Reserve Grand Champion Senior Doe in the Texas Mini Milkers Texas Two-Step on May 6, 2023.  Verbena also won Reserve Grand Champion Mini Nubian Senior Doe in the Texas Mini Milkers Hill Country Two-Step on May 4, 2024, under Judge Rebekah Rupchis.  She then went on to win Overall Best Udder under Judge Emily Thompson-Healy.

Tundra joins us from CA Blackberry’s Goat Herd in California.  He is a Purebred Mini Nubian from excellent milk and show lines.  We have retained several polled does, and we needed a horned buck.  He has great conformation with a long level topline and nice width throughout.  His long ears should correct some shorter ears on some of our does.   He also has earned his *B!

Tundra has sired many wonderful kids!  We have a few of his kids, Sprite, Pancho, and Poppy.  Sprite won two Reserve Grand Champion Junior Doe awards in the 2023 show circuit, and Poppy won a Reserve Grand Champion Junior Doe in 2024.  Pancho was retained as a herd sire and has been producing some stellar kids himself!

Tundra has three Reserve Grand Champion wins in the MDGA Virtual Shows. We are hoping to get him in the ring for some live shows in the future!
